Many subject-related questions are connected with a degree program. This page provides all further information on the organization, such as the course sequence, module offerings and detailed module descriptions. In addition, the important forms for your project and bachelor’s thesis registrations are compiled. Do you have further questions and are you looking for individual advising? Are you already familiar with our academic advisory service? You can find your responsible adviser in the service area of this page.

The program is divided into compulsory modules and compulsory elective modules (A/B/C). Two related A/B modules must be selected from the compulsory elective modules, as well as two independent C modules (different from the selected A/B modules). Attention, some modules are only offered in the winter semester or summer semester. A brief description of the content is linked to the individual modules in the table below. The preliminary module handbook (see also Downloads) provides you with further details on the organization and procedure of the modules.

Please submit the completed and signed form by post. Examination mail can only be sent to the postal address registered with the Registrar’s Office. Changes of address can only be made at the university’s Registrar’s Office.

Advanced infrastructure for a research-focused life sciences campus: the BioCenters I and II are located close to other important pillars of the natural and life sciences in Mainz, such as the Institute of Molecular Biology gGmbH (IMB), the Institute of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Sciences, the JGU Department of Chemistry, and the Physics Institutes of Mainz University. Two Max Planck Institutes and the Helmholtz Institute Mainz complete the life sciences campus quarter. Short walking distances between all these institutions support close cooperation between the disciplines.
