FIS, teasers, and post listings are the biggest changes that go live today.

Here are all the changes in detail:

• FIS: Publications are now sorted by year first. Accordions are always displayed by year. If you filter by multiple categories and limit the number of items, the results are first sorted by date within the selected categories, and the most recent publications are displayed. More about the FIS
• Teasers: These are now always displayed in full in the editor; if there is too much text, a rectangle appears in the editor. If there is too much text to fit within a square in the visitor view, a “Read More” link appears and the post collapses into a rectangle. If you select the “Rectangle” setting in the editor, the teaser will also be displayed as a rectangle rather than a square in the visitor view. More About Teasers
• Post Listing, Post Archive, Blog Archive, and WPML: From now on, English and German posts will be separated by default, even if you haven’t assigned any categories.
• Post-Listing: Slider type with few posts and focus group: In this special case, the navigation items are now centered again.
• External Link Icon Now Also Appears for URLs Ending in “unimainz”: All external links should display an external link icon, like this: Uni-LinkedIn
• Setting the heading size works again. In the “Heading” block, the “H” opens a drop-down menu with smaller headings; the higher the number, the smaller the heading.
• The “Contact (Email)” icon in the page header is now linked directly to the page. Previously, the page was displayed within the context of the respective main page, which caused unpleasant side effects such as internal links not working properly in the accordion and anchor navigation.
• Expandable Section / Collapsible displays all blocks
• Numberbox: The thousands separator is displayed again
