If you do not do the following, then your website is incomplete and contains placeholders!
- Weisen Sie die Menüs zu: Dashboard > Design > Customizer > Menüs > Alle Positionen anzeigen
- Primary navigation: Main menu
- Footer Quicklinks: Quicklinks
- Social Links: Social Links
- The page that opens at your web address is called the home page aka landing page. There are several of these in the institute template.
- Rename your start page of choice: Dashboard > Pages > Mouse over “your” home page > Quick Edit / Quickedit > Overwrite title with your setup name. Refresh.
- Define your election start page, because at the moment a list of all posts is displayed.
- To select your home page: Dashboard > Design > Customizer > Home page settings > Click on a static page > Home page > Select your freshly renamed home page from the menu here.
- Gesetzlich geforderte Inhalte im Footer zuordnen. Dazu müssen die zuzuordnenden Seiten alle veröffentlicht sein. : Dashboard > Design > Customizer > Footer
- Contact replace the template content with your own.
- Imprint / Legal Disclosures: enter your own address and assign your own page: Customize imprint page, image material
- Leichte Sprache / Simplified Language: fill with your own text
- Data protection / privacy policy, accessibility: assigning is sufficient.
- Campus URL: link a campus map, e.g.: https://www.uni-mainz.de/campusplan/
- Enter your address in the footer
- Publish changes in the Customizer
In the layout, columns are used for the design, some of which remain empty and support the layout in the desktop view. These empty columns are ‘hidden’ for viewing on mobile devices.
